Did you know that Jonathan Swift founded the first mental hospital in Ireland? When Swift passed away in 1745, he left an endowment for the establishment of a mental hospital in Dublin. Since then, St. Patrick's Hospital has become Ireland’s largest non-profit mental health service. 🧵1/2
