Also, look at books! There were multiple books written by Amy Herzog about customizing patterns for fit. Big Girl Knits, by Jillian Moreno and Amy Singer, is another one recommended for customizing shaping.

I’m late to #showmeyourknits, but this beauty just made her public debut for a work event and I have never looked hotter? It’s not elaborate, but it’s the most perfect fitting garment I’ve ever made. Tailoring is a miracle. I need to take some real photos soon. 🧶

I have no finished pics of the dress because I was literally completing it in the parking lot on exhibit drop off day, but here’s a progress pic and the finished shawl. The dress got 1st in its category, the shawl 2nd.
