it's funny, i'm not a competitive person by nature, but i'm really into competitive video games. i think i enjoy the process of learning a skill and getting better at it way more than i care about winning. i had to realize this though, i didn't play fighting games until i was already an adult.

One thing I’m noticing is that one rogue person not embedded with the team (or on the team but not empowered to drive decisions) will do or say some bullshit with genAI, even if it doesn’t reflect the team’s practices. and it is MUCH harder to dispel that narrative once it’s out there.
