Every spring, mother rainbows find suitable places to lay their eggs so that the larval rainbows grow up safe, protected and loved. I saw my first rainbow larva on the carpet this morning. It’s an honor that a mother rainbow chose us.

Tell her to "stop it this instant", it won't make any difference, but at least you can then start wondering why she doesn't listen. Then you remember she is deaf, so try to work out sign language to talk to her, by then, she will have stopped, & you will have forgotten why you started it all. 😉🐾

Thornit is available on Ebay, you don't need a prescription. It's mainly used by people in the dog showing world, so might be worth a poke around to see if they have it under a different name out there.

Paint brush to brush it around the outer ear, letting a little drop down into the canal. I then gently rub their ears, before letting them shake their heads. We used to get ear mites at least once a year, but since using Thornit every couple of months, we have not had them in 10 years.

That sounds like ear mites, we have had a few of the rescues turn up here with orange around the ears. If she has them, then your cat will as well. Because ours go out in the garden, which has wild visitors, they are susceptible to getting them. We use a powder called Thornit, which I use a small
