according to the article, it took hours after the personal intervention of the mayor for his family to even get basic information about him. that information included that he had been transferred to ICE custody hours after being shot. no amnesty

The US is bombing Iran again, saying it’s to stop Iran’s ability to attack ships in the Strait of Hormuz, which is also what the last round of bombing what was supposed to accomplish. Why the U.S. expects this more limited bombing to accomplish what previous bombing failed to do, they did not say.
