Frequent flyer miles are a clever incentive. I used to chase them too, until I realized the "reward" was just more climate pollution. I cut my flying 90% & retired my card in 2012. It now lives in a museum called Carbon Ruins, which looks back on past habits. Full episode here: youtu.be/aTqUgEdgvDg

Back in 2012 we did a figure comparing historical emissions to previous generations of emission scenarios. rdcu.be/brDGx Surprisingly, the figure is still doing the rounds. We update it every year, with many interesting changes primarily due to revisions in land-use change emissions. 1/
