Dems’ 2028 platform should include stuff like letting soldiers have beards, letting TSA agents sit down, letting generals get their promotions, etc. The deep state isn’t real but civil and uniformed services are. We need them to know which side respects their human dignity before MAGA’s next coup.

Wilber Rafael Garces Perez was shot by ICE 10 days ago. The bullet is still lodged in his back. He’s been forced to sleep on the floor and hasn’t been given medication, according to his attorney. Now DHS is claiming he assaulted an agent. Can we trust anything DHS says given its track record?

Let this sink in. Cornell University refused to refund Jane Doe's tuition the semester she was raped. Without this money, she could not transfer to another school. Essentially, she was forced to stay on campus where she saw those seven rapists frequently. Eventually she dropped out of college.

The Jesuits are the punk rockers of Catholicism. That was the Catholicism that resonated with me in my youth. Seeing the nuns who ran Holy Cross Hospital, taking in the homeless, washing and clothing them when the for profit hospitals were literally turning them away. That was love. True agape.
