That's one way to think of it but I also think of parents and grandparents generation who still desired children in the midst of the horrors of Jim Crow apartheid and racial tyranny. The world has always been a terrible place.

I've been going through publicly available information relative to the possible Y. pestis (pneumonic plague) incident in Russia. Reports are conflicting—we do not have a clear picture of what's happening. And even under the best of circumstances the Russian government isn't exactly transparent 🧵

CNN making this sound more mysterious than it is. It was Yersinia pestis, the plague, the researcher died because she inhaled it into her lungs and developed pneumonic plague, there is no danger but to those directly exposed in the lab. Fear-mongering in the time of global terror is a sick choice.
