I wasn't scarred that badly by Mörkö from the 90s Muumi anime which is the traditional answer among Finns my age, but the big lizard from Muumipeikko ja pyrstötähti (Comet in Moominland) movie gave me nightmares for weeks when I was like 6 yo.

#KarkkiPlaysBG3 #bg3 #bg3tav #art Marcus tadpole adventures - Part 1: Marcus' not very good day 1/2

Comic page. Marcus sits in his patio in Baldur's Gate in the morning while reading a paper, drinking coffee and lighting his pipe.

Comic page. Marcus turns to look at a letter open next to him on a table with a dejected expression.

The letter reads: Commander,
As before there's nothing to report. The young
lord is the same as ever. Sleeps poorly, drinks
and gambles too much, but nothing alarming.
- Caelthas
P.S. It's surely not my place and I don't
know what's going on between you two, but
couldn't you just come here and talk to him
yourself? He asks about you often, I do think
he would listen to you. He swore me not to
write to you about that, but I'm hoping it'll
convince you, since frankly I'm tired of being
some kind of messenger between you.

#tavqotd Marcus is pretty experienced sexually, like he was married twice, in total for several decades, but his experience is limited in certain ways. Mainly he has actually quite little experience in that sort of dating/propositioning phase of relationships, since he's ever slept 1/5

Signalis Fanart. Elster in black armor is kneeling besides Ariane's bed, her head is on Ariane's stomach and she's desperately embracing her. Ariane's seems to be peacefully asleep. They're framed by computer chips. On the bottom of the illustration, an interpretation of "Die Toteninsel" by Böcklin. And on the top, "Dost thou recall our vow?" can be read.

Anyway, all the negativity aside, I finally managed to finish the new VENA CAVA chapter. Give it a read if the premise of Astarion watching his lost love succumb to the same fate she saved him from seems interesting! #tavqotd In canon!Marcus' culture their religion centers on stars so in his first language the most affectionate way to address someone is "my most beloved star". Regardless if that actually fits Calishites, I decided to bring it to Tav!Marcus too so he can call Astarion my most beloved star😌🌟

Marcus holds Astarion very gently and says "My most beloved star"

i should clarify, when i write people doing bad things, it's because i am bad. they are me. more importantly, when you read about those bad things, they also become you. that's how story works. in fact, you are going to think about murder before this skeet ends. how's that feel, sicko.

for fucking REAL. the depth of trauma for those undiagnosed with ADHD is real. not just the way we feel like we're constantly failing (because everyone is telling us we are) but not understanding WHY because we have no context to understand other people aren't struggling with the things we are.

Hard at work on DOWNFORCE, a graphic novel series with Inklore. A near-future, F1-racing-inspired BL following Ilya, a promising rookie from the moon colony as he falls for his biggest rival Thierry, a wild hotshot. Stick around to see all the bonus illustrations I make for them in my free time 🏁🏎️🏎️

Introductory profiles for Thierry and Ilya, with more statistics than is even possible for me to write here.

A fashion magazine cover for Thierry, all in deep blue. It's from early in the season and the main article tease is titled "FIRE & ICE: Thierry Koskunen on a fresh start at Vulkan." Thierry lounges on what is maybe a couch, or perhaps a floor (it's really a conversation pit) with his shirt open and jewelry glinting everywhere.

A men's lifestyle magazine cover for Ilya, sharp light highlighting him from above against a dark background. It's a mid-season release, with the main article headline reading, "Ilya Levan: DARK HORSE. Meet Koskunen's biggest nightmare." Ilya stands with a quiet intensity in a chrome bomber jacket, black leather gloves, and his helmet in hand for the photo shoot.

#tavqotd Marcus is very competent at what he does and a perfectionist, so it's safe to say he doesn't mess up very often. He's also very neat and very much opposite of a klutz. One area where he does mess up more often is social situations and relationships. He usually comes off as harsher than 1/2

That bathing TavQOTD reminded me of this tierlist I downloaded off of tumblr ages ago. I'm willing to hear arguments.

A tierlist of "How they bathe"

Every bath is an experience: candles, oils, and absolute privacy: Astarion, Minthara, Shadowheart, Gale

scrubs self like a pan left to soak overnight and comes out looking like a boiled tomato: Wyll, Jaheira

*dunks self in nearest body of water* ok i'm clean: Halsin

'bathe'? is that french word? : Karlach, Minsc

in a complicated, on-again-off-again relationship with soap: Lae'zel, Withers

PAST ❂ PRESENT ❂ FUTURE Detail of the cards I created for my calendar page for @dragonageannual.art this year! symbols explaination in alt text <3 #DragonAge #Zevran #daFanart #tarotcards

Fully coloured digital illustration by Chên King for the charity project Dragon Age Annual calendar. The illustration is themed after the Marseille Tarot card of 'The Sun' and the Dragon Age Origins character Zevran Arainai.
The 'past' card shows 3 crow assassins with red blades, at night, at the top is Taliesin, middle is Zevran and below Rinna. Only Zevran's face is drawn with detail. They each have chains at their wrists, to reference they are slaves to the crows, a pale crow mask and Zevran is the only one not bloodied, to hint at the violent fate his partners each met by his hand. Zevran is also the only one with a white halo, whereas the other two have a red halo, more faded. Crow feathers are hidden in their capes, both darker than Zevran's. He has a brooch with peacock feathers, showing his arrogance and pride at the time. The background shows an antivan city and Thedas' two moons.
I have paid special attention to textures and patterns to emulate the popular Inquisition tarot card style.

2023 Digital illustration of characters from the movie Across The Spiderverse having a cozy autumnal nap at the park. MJ, a red hair woman, is sitting and resting her eldow on the stone bench with a hot cuppa in her hand. Her other hand is playing with Miguel, a latinx man resting his head on her legs and reading a book. Next to him is Peter B. Parker, having a good snooze, all cozy in a pink scarf. Miguel is wearing a pink sweater and straight trousers, and MJ is wearing a low neck shirt with a winter skirt and a big knitted shawl.

Astonishing really how ADHD-denialism so closely matches early trans-denialism (say, a decade ago, before it went mask-off eliminationist), to the point that it includes the exact same personalities, again vomiting their know-nothing opinions all over the place.

#AwesomeCharacters Easily Valeri, he takes so many punches during the story XD Especially in the first book he's most of the time like injured and in pain but keeping on going and taking more punches. Here's some old sketches of him, first one is a comparison from earlier and later in the book😂

First Valeri in uniform, clean shaven. Second Valeri in a fur coat, overgrown hair and beard, half of the head covered in blood.

Recovering Valeri shirtless with bandages on his head, still overgrown hair and beard, very dark shadows over his eyes. Has a lot of old scars too.

#tavqotd Marcus is not gullible at all, rather he's deeply untrusting and suspicious. He sees through lies easily, partly because he tends to assume worst of people. It's very hard for him to trust people, even those he cares about, often to the point it risks sabotaging his relationships. 1/3
