Sigh... even just showing something that's related to a project you maintain & was made with AI gets some people saying they'll stop using your project. It's not enough for a project to be human developed, those humans have to themselves disavow AI. That's going to rule out an awful lot of things.

We don't need Prop 45 to build new housing - recent state laws have already streamlined approval of new homes in existing cities and suburbs. Instead, Prop 45 would rubber stamp sprawl in wildfire zones, and make California's insurance crisis worse. Vote No on 45.

Cyrus is right! The SPUR report is fantastic and also, it WILL get worse if RTM doesn't pass. If it fails, there will likely be no BART within ~3 years. Massive service cuts -> massive ridership decline -> revenue loss -> more cuts -> cycle continues... We must pass the regional transit measure!

Oakland public middle schools aren't allowed to offer algebra. I was a bit dismayed when finding this out on a tour. A parent came to me after and said they worked around this with a private math club where they took an online community college algebra class guided by a tutor. So equitable.

Why are there projects named Wasm3 & Wasm4 that *aren't actually a version of WebAssembly*?? Is Wasm3 a version of Wasm? Wasm 3.0 came out last year: when you say "wasim three" are you referring to the spec or the runtime? Is the "point oh" load bearing? (sorry) Is Wasm4 the next version of Wasm?

I think I have an interesting mitigation to the function coloring problem for single-threaded async/await-style languages... I'm curious if anyone's tried this. It's like Python's asyncio .run() but supports nesting and scoped microtask queues...

This looks awesome! First, I really I want to port this style of API to Zena. But then I wish standard PDSes could run Wasm modules to serve HTTP traffic and respond to triggers. Then your PDS doesn't just host your data, but your apps that manage the data.

I'm late to this, but I finally upgraded to macOS Tahoe last night, and... Liquid Glass is just bad. Frosted glass backgrounds were already borderline but with enough blur + opacity they can be ok, but liquid glass is gratuitous and distracting for no reason. And I have it on the "tinted" setting.
