I think the thing about school and observationally law school especially (I went to seminary and see a very similar pattern) is many people go to confirm their preconceived notions and only learn what helps enforce what they already want/believe.

I am pleased to hear the memorandum of understanding with Iran to allow the Strait of Hormuz to open has been agreed to. I will be watching closely the ensuing negotiations regarding Iran's nuclear program and other matters.
I am somewhat concerned that Iran's view of the agreement seems different than what the American negotiating team is claiming.
Under our law, any nuclear deal with Iran will be sent to Congress for review and a vote. I look forward to reviewing the final product and I believe it is imperative that the architect of the deal, Vice President Vance and his negotiating partners, be part of the process in presenting the final deal to Congress.

The most disturbing thing about Google AI Overview is Google’s evident contempt for the values of scholarship, such as verifiability, exactness, consistency, and accuracy. Or maybe the worst thing here is what looks to me like artificial pressure to associate the term “liberal”—via references to “libertarian” and “classical liberalism” up or near the top, with free-market notions of right-wing politics—rather than egalitarianism or democracy—associated with the political aspects of the word “liberal.”

Which is inaccurate, from an etymological perspective.
