I would guess the problem here is not just raw inflation numbers, but that it is clear Trump is actively working to make it worse. In theory we could probably get back the ~2% inflation we have had for most of my adult life if he would stop doing dumb shit.

Just got my 90 day notice to move my student loans off of SAVE. Trump sucks for so many reasons, but I think the destruction of department of ED and the way they are fighting to make student loans as bad as possible may be one of the biggest things that hits so many directly.
