Made granola, it's in the oven now. Last time I forgot to add the salt and it tasted so weird. I added 1/8tsp salt to every bowl of yogurt and fruit I ate with it. Put it in first this time 😂 Pro tip - when measuring for a recipe using oil+syrup, measure out oil first, syrup won't stick to the cup.

Freida has had a rough last 14 hours or so. She was blocked from using her box after midnight, denied breakfast, given medicine, and taken to the vet where her pee was taken for a test. This last bit stressed her out so much she was panting and yelling and had to stay at the vet for an extra hour >>

Today is Canada's National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, a day of memorial to recognize the atrocities and multi-generational effects of the Canadian Indian residential school system.

When we say every child matters, that includes the children who survived, not just the ones who died. The ones who came back damaged, and whose damage flowed down to their children and grandchildren. The ones who society forgets, or looks at in disgust or pity.

Those children matter too.
