Holy crap. Lit team member @rictic.com used Claude to create a "How lit-html renders" video and it's frankly... jaw-dropping. Yes, it's a lot like my talk intro'ing lit-html, but that was a good talk! This is deeper, more clear, and has great visuals. lit-html-series-v1.a1.demo.rictic.com/renders/

I suspect once we figure it out agentic work in software will actually be a huge aid to codebase comprehension This is such a wildly unpopular thought right now but you know what I'm going to pre-register my belief in this possibility

After thinking about this question all weekend, I think my favorite candidate is the alchemical symbol for air: 🜁 It’s connotes both atmosphere and “transfer”. It’s a standard Unicode character. It references a capital “A.” And it’s very simple, which feels appropriate for a protocol, like 🌐 or 🛜.

Two papers came out last week that suggest classical asymmetric cryptography might indeed be broken by quantum computers in just a few years. That means we need to ship post-quantum crypto now, with the tools we have: ML-KEM and ML-DSA. I didn't think PQ auth was so urgent until recently.

The problem I'm seeing with agentic driven development is that most models are trained on sample code or snippets and need very explicit skills to make sure the generated code is modular and sustainable. Sure, you can make changes that cross concerns very quickly now. But you shouldn't.
