We all know that we pay into social security with every paycheck. Did you know that there’s a cap? Anyone who makes more than $185k stops paying the soc sec tax after they’ve contributed ~$11,500 for the year. Why are we voluntarily refusing additional revenue from those who can most afford to pay?
