Unironically the best thing ever to be made for television, possibly the best piece of dramatic art that isn’t weirdly canonized and thus unjudgeable like Shakespeare or Chekov. NGL I’m kinda mad it was ranked lower than Mad Men and Game of Thrones.

in my talk today, as an example of the strange things you can do in comics given their sequential but also spatial/simultaneous nature, I included this gonzo panel from 1950s Batman, which I just love in all its weirdness! Yes, I have more intentionally clever examples, but something about this...

We got a puppy cam so we could see when the puppies wake up, but the side effect is that I now have a button I can press on my phone at work that is more or less guaranteed to show me live video of a sleeping puppy. Friends my will has never been so tested.

Day two of new puppies and I literally cannot imagine having a life that isn’t just a marathon of chaos and constraints ever again.

Two adorable puppies. They are tiny tornadoes of biting, pooping confusion that demand more or less constant and complete attention. Their names are “Noodles” and “Sprout”.
