I think the gamer culture of demanding everything be fit into a single VTT instead of a small number of custom tools has gotten in the way of online tool integration. Stuff like this is great; it does the core thing needed - you can use whatever else you want for character sheets/maps.

Favorite Spielberg father plot is in JURASSIC PARK, where Dr Grant is like "I don't think I want kids" then is thrust into a situation where he has to protect a couple kids from mortal danger and at the end of the movie he's like "this validates my feelings about how I should never have kids"
