When last I found myself in an Aldi I discovered that their bone broth is already pre-seasoned, the beef with a sort of phở bò sensibility (galangal, tomato, pho spices), the chicken in a more Chinese mode (goji, coriander, shiitake, milk vetch root). So naturally it is hotpot time.
