Oh yes I saw that too. I believe I relate to you in that we love print media but fear for the paper of record in our town. There are few things I love more than the weekend *physical* paper. But it’s such an absurd facsimile of itself I’m finally considering going online-only. And it’s sad.

Like many others, I ran for City Council because the City of Minneapolis & Derek Chauvin murdered George Floyd. I will never forget the sadness and the outrage I felt when I saw the video Darnella Frazier bravely recorded, revealing the truth—that this was a public lynching, not a medical incident.

Hard agree. I lived in the building attached to the old Dudley Riggs theatre across from Chipotle, and everything about the street/traffic was inconvenient and unpleasant. It's a thrill to see the lane exist and I am very confident and excited about the future of Hennepin Ave
