明けましておめでとう！ I have a tradition of spending New Year’s Day drawing the zodiac animal of the incoming year. This year’s the fire horse! 🔥🐎 The flames gave me a lot of trouble but I’m happy with how they turned out.

Oh, I just remembered that I needed to add the sticker that @jemyoshioka.bsky.social gave me when we passed on the street the other day to my work laptop! It’s now in good company ❤️

The top of an HP laptop. There are 4 stickers showing. A Public Service Association one that says Stand Togethet. Below that is Jem’s sticker with characters from her recent graphic novel. Beside tjese are 2 photos of a boy. The top photo has him buried in sand up to his armpits, he is giving 2 thumbs up to the camera. The second photo is the same boy cuddled with his legs up into a oodie decorated with Grogu, and he is sitting on a bed

FYI relay dinner is real and I’m pretty sure I did invent it. (If you did I’m sorry for claiming it, but also let’s be friends because we obviously both have excellent ideas.) Too difficult to get all the food on the plate at same time? Don’t! ✨Relay dinner✨

Regular meal advice: Do meal prep so you have easy meals to hand when you’re low on energy! ADHD meal advice: So I invented this thing I call “relay dinner” where instead of cooking a whole meal at once I prepare and eat the components of a balanced meal one after another. Dunno why but it works.

The lie that the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki was justified is still being perpetrated in the US. We live in a country of cognitive dissonance because we have never grappled with this war crime, nor the racist justification for it. There is a reason they did not drop nukes on Europe.
