I really love this chart. I'm guess that the correlation here (.85) is about as big as you would find for any other variable. Also, a less serious scholar than @tesler.bsky.social (namely me) would have made a crude Freudian reference to the slope of the line.

I just found out China Mieville has a new book out. I've really, really loved a few of his novels (Perdido Street Station, The Scar, and Embassytown, especially), but I don't think I can do a 1200-page book these days.
