Yeah, she's 3 for 3 in my book. I have no real attachment to this property whatsoever. Never read the books, saw that first movie 20 years ago, liked it, then never thought about it again. Fully expect it to be the focus of culture war shit next year. I'm intrigued!

We went last night. First time I'd seen it since theaters opening weekend, and my husband's first time in theaters (he hadn't watched anything Marvel until the last few years). It's still a blast to watch and experience, and props for how they managed to wrangle the thing together.

I still really like this movie. I don't care about the 20 minutes the movie stops to do the Illuminati in the middle, and they really missed out on Strange being tempted by finding happiness in other universes, but they also let Sam Raimi direct, so every set piece has me hooting and hollering.
