My constant struggle: growing up (and even dealing as an adult) being screamed at or even physically abused for not asking and assuming something was OK, to the point where it swung in the other direction and now I prob exasperate everyone by asking what sounds like stupid questions all the time.

You absolutely do not need to sit through Endgame again to understand Doomsday. I would argue seeing Thor 2 before seeing Ant-Man 3 would be more essential. The one (1) thing of note that they changed is clearly part of a bigger scene anyway.

RESIDENT EVIL is the sort of movie that's fun to watch once but I do not see any real reason to revisit it. Maybe as background noise or something? I's such an *experience* that rewatching would kind of feel like replaying a video game and doing all the same things. Intentional?

I am listening to the 2nd Garth Marenghi novel now and he is once again deriving a lot of humor out of dealing with his editor, and I laugh, but in reality I have been blessed throughout my writing career to work with excellent editors who have improved my writing. Eternal gratitude to them all.
