I got my official autism diagnosis earlier this week! I have many thoughts but mainly how I wasn't imagining it when simple things seemed way too hard and that instead of being lazy and weak, I was actually quite driven and resilient 💪

Yes, I did stand in the river beside my old house to take this photo. No regrets. This was the house and river that was a big inspiration for the landscape mentioned in the Papps Wedge chapter of my novel, Villager.
