jumped a chainlink fence to retrieve a ball at soccer practice last night. one of the kids offered to do it, but i told her "better i get hurt doing this than you do".
made it over/back without incident - not gracefully.
woke up this morning to find an inch-long bruise on my sternum. brilliant.
