The fact that there's still no official announcement on what's going on with Tapas is hard to read as anything other than Kakao trying to let premium consumers who aren't aware of an impending closure keep spending money as long as they can.

Just added an RSS button to the Errant site. Good way to get that Tapas/Webtoon convenience with indie webcomics!

All right. That's all like... nearly 400 pages of Errant edited on the new official website, now with exciting features like character tags! Mostly just need to add extras and spruce up the presentation and we're in business!

I alluded towards having problems appear before the trip to Manchester, which was that I had to change from airbnb into a hotel, which created a lot of extra spending due to not having a fridge or being able to cook for myself. And I could use help for rest of the month. paypal.me/AasatheGathe...

So my clever and gorgeous Mx got the WordPress and Toocheke theme set up, and it turns out you can import Tapas pages with that! All that's needed is to edit things like the theme and make sure creator comments are in the right box and add/tag chapters if you want them.

I'm really kind of still processing how very angry I feel at the corporate owners of Tapas for running what was a flourishing and profitable webcomics site/app back in 2019 into the ground.

Gabrielle Steele ⚔️ Echoes of Chaos out now! @eldris.thellian.com · 23/09/2026

If anyone would like a review copy of Echoes of Chaos, DM me! I missed my window for ARCs and it's only with 2 people for reviews at the moment 😅 Desperate to destroy the twisted beast that was once the woman she loved, an outcast makes a costly deal with an imprisoned immortal. #BookSky

The book cover for Elements of the Fallen Book One: Echoes of Chaos by Gabrielle Steele. The background is dark blue with a cracked texture. The title is silver with a metallic almost 3D effect. Behind the title is a circular emblem of abstract dragons circling each other, one dark the other light. Beneath the title is a flame-coloured eagle in a watercolour style. Layered over the bottom of that is a marble-effect silhouette of a woman riding a horse with a cat beside it, surrounded by vine-like roots. The horse is rearing and the cat is up on its back legs reaching a forepaw towards the nearest root.

I'm thinking first thing I'm gonna do to migrate from Tapas is make the pdf book versions of Errant available on places like itch and Etsy. Second thing will be the more arduous task of building a site and re-uploading all like 400 pages of the damn thing.

191

Kate Holden @darthmongoose.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

Okay, so I'm looking for a good site/app to host Errant since Tapas is basically dying. It can be posted as pages or small scroll, there's about 400 pages total so far, genre is action fantasy, it's roughly PG-13 and has queer characters and relationships.

Really enjoying having a little nosey at the work of all the artists who like and share that old flowchart meme. There are so many people making cool art out there! A lot of them are erotic furry artists, which isn't my personal cuppa, but they're *really skilled* erotic furry artists!

The free sample minis for Planet Shark printed out beautifully on our Elegoo Mars 3 using the supplied supports (I used 2mm anti aliasing). They're SO CUTE! The game looks really fun too, a lightweight skirmish game with silly scenarios and even a campaign mode. Worth a look!

The original version of this was posted on my FAisDM (felicitousArtisan is Darth Mongoose) Tumblr many years ago. I drew it at about 11pm right before going to bed, trying to express something I felt about art. When I woke up it kinda blew up.

HOW TO BE ANARTIST.
Make some art.-> Does it look terrible? 1. YEAH 2. NO (both lives lead to thesame conclusion box) -> You are an artist -> Make more art

More old LoZ art from 2021! I started a series of illustrations of boss battles from A Link to the Past but only got three in before I got too busy with other things.

An illustration of Link fighting Armos, a big red monster like a suit of armour. It swipes its massive sword down at him as he aims his bow.

An illustration of Link fighting Lanmola, a giant evil caterpillar monster. As it coils around him he stabs it with a sword.

Link fighting Moldorm - a segmented worm monster with huge bulging eyes and an eyeball flower at the end of its tail. Link is leaping down up with sword raised, aimed at Moldorm's head.

The Reform UK excuses for getting caught agreeing to take illegal foreign donations via a loophole are like a fascinating "choose your own adventure". It simultaneously was totally legal and nothing bad was done, but the guys responsible have been punished and also it was "entrapment".

So I was playing Hades 2 again and got to the part where Chronus says to his son, "Grown a broad frame and a full beard, I see." and couldn't stop thinking about what a young Hades might have looked like wielding his (bright pink!) aspect of Varatha until I drew it to get it out of my head.

I am withdrawing my paper proposal from Warhammer Conference 2026. My reasoning can be found below. In a way, this has been one of the most stressful decisions of my academic career. In one way, the answer was clear to me since I found out about this.

To Dr. Ryder:

I am deeply saddened to do this, but I must withdraw my paper proposal for this year’s Warhammer Conference. I have been attending the conference every year since its inception, and as you are aware, this is the premiere conference in the field where I am currently writing my doctoral thesis.

My withdrawal is based your signature of the open letter in support of Nathan Cofnas, which I feel misleadingly frames his suspension as an issue of academic free speech, where as Ghent University has stated that their reasoning was based on shoddy work ethics and work that would bring university’s reputation into disrepute, i.e. “race realism” and other frankly racist and dubiously scientific works. I believe that many well-meaning scholars have been misled by primarily making this a case of academic free speech.

Moreover, Nathan Cofnas was the instigator for a mass harassment campaign of dubious merits that led to the death of Professor Jason Arday, which I find disgusting, horrible and unforgivable. I am unwilling to associate with anyone who shows support for Cofnas under the guise of academic free speech. The far right have shown their capability to use free speech as a smokescreen to harass, target, and demonize whole groups of people, and this is just another example of it. To see “academic free speech” being used as a reason to support this odious man is unacceptable to me. Without speculating on your motives, I have to listen to my own principles in this matter.

The Big Mek Dakkarig! It's the biggest single mini in the Armageddon box, about the size of the old box dreadnoughts. It's fun collecting Blood Axes because they're a less popular subfaction, so I didn't have any other examples of this new mini in these colours to influence me.

I love how the scenarios AI bros are coming up with to justify why a person would need to use AI instead of just drawing or designing things are getting increasingly fantastical, specific and far fetched. "What if I only had 15 seconds to design a flyer and my hands had just been eaten by a shark!?"
