I don't know what to say about the supreme court ruling except that when I see trans girls get to have a girlhood, I'm besides myself with joy and that I meet so many trans people who were made homeless as children by bigoted parents and that trans kids deserve medical care and social acceptance

I’ve never understood the protests as a way to influence Trump. I believe they’re important because they’re a way to tell each other that we’re not okay with this. They’re a way to communicate with other Americans and hopefully suppress further normalization of Trumpism in everyday life.

The baby of Adriana Smith, a brain-dead pregnant woman who was being kept alive by ventilators under Georgia’s abortion law, was delivered Friday via emergency C-section. Baby weighs 1 pound, 13 ounces and is in the neonatal intensive care unit. Smith now taken off life support.

A common reaction I get when talking about these events is "what is going on?!" It's so sad to me, because this is what the IPCC, climate scientists, etc. have been warning us about when we pass 1.5C. This is what happens. We lose the "Goldilocks" climate were used to on Earth.
