getting back into a warm house after a nighttime corner shop visit, the only light turned on is in the kitchen, where you're putting away your purchases. you think to yourself "wouldn't it be nice to be doing this with someone, as a couple?" and like always, that just leads to self-hatred.

@zagorudan.bsky.social in your review of cathy's curse, you mention the danger of "your mother's a bitch!" getting stuck in your head, but "stupid fat whore!" from that movie is also a surprising earworm

i will say after researching the mk nes bootlegs, 'mk3' is probably one of my least favorites to play but the aesthetic this one has really sticks out, especially for an nes bootleg. a friend described it as 'mk3 but even more desolate looking'

KU SHU and scorpion (who is missing his shoulder) on the bridge from mk3, which is colored with very dim lighting and looks somehow more eerie than the official version

KU SHU and mileena in the balcony stage from mk3, but it is much darker and the soul tornado thing is gone, leaving everything looking much more dreary

Three girls in red uniform on school vacation at a tourist trap, posing awkwardly in front of a fourth: "Oh, you're cute in your own way."

Pink main character Hikaru running towards the screen as her friends say, "Although our school's all girls." Behind her, there are two tourists in the background of this observation deck.

The Harry Potter author was also friends with Epstein, which is basically a pedophile in my book. Certainly shouldn't be working on a show where most of the cast are children.

If english speakers can understand "Don't buy Rurouni Kenshin, the author is a pedophile" I think non english speakers can easily understand "Don't but Harry Potter, the author is a TERF"

IM SERIOUS THO. Kids would be better off with something as ambitious but messy and goofy as SA2 or something than the lame ass half hearted attempts at humor in those latter games. Discarding all that because the awful writing is "for kids so it's fine" is worse? You know that's worse, right???
