Still loving my MiSTer years later. I got one for the console cores, but I think I've been using the arcade cores a lot more lately. Never imagined enjoying it this much. I'm really grateful that it exists and for all of the work people put into it.

𝗜 think 𝘆𝗼𝘂 should play Warlords, the classic arcade game from Atari. The early 80s had so many incredible arcade games, and I consider Warlords to be up there among my faves. It's real-time battle action for up to 2-4 human players (version dependent) with wicked cool medieval fantasy style.

The Operation, Maintenance, and Service Manual for Atari's Warlords, document TM-175. It features a cool illustration of a dark knight on horseback, encroaching upon a tower that shoots flaming stone projectiles, looking like red-hot meteor. The manual scan is sourced from the Internet Archive, kindly uploaded by user snorkasaurus.

Screenshot of the starting demo-play screen for Atari's Warlords arcade game. The onscreen text "4 PLAYER, 1 CREDIT PER GAME" confirms this is a version that allows up to four human players to battle at once. This feature could be found in the cocktail cabinet versions of Warlords, as opposed to the standing cabinet versions that allowed up to two human players at once.
