Compare and contrast
Professor Peter Fonagy, who chaired the review, has outlined three key findings in an interview with BBC Breakfast:

A "very real substantial rise in mental ill-health", particularly among young people - it increased by 50% between 1993 and the present day
An increase in the "co-occurrence of different diagnoses", meaning more people have common mental disorders (like anxiety and depression) as well as ADHD and autism
An increase in the number of diagnoses of people with ADHD and autism, rather than a rise in how many people have either conditionLIVE
.

ADHD and autism at risk of over-diagnosis, says report, as author warns of rise in mental ill health

"Toilet" is of course a euphemism of the first order. To "toilet", 2 or 300 years ago, was to wash and dress, apply makeup, etc. To be "at one's toilet" was to be at the dressing-table...

Okay, look, it's only because I found it in a dumpster when I was digging through it looking for a wire hanger because I'd locked my keys in my car. It leans in the corner next to a roll of window screen that I used to make paper molds.

Quick shout-out to the guy who was talking to one of our patron services chatbots and calling it "shitbot" and constantly insulting it even after it asked not to, even though, in actual point, we don't use patron service chatbots and the stream of abuse was aimed at an actual person.

what
screenshot of someone saying: RATM shared the stage with Limp Bizket, Kid Rock, and Korn. I don't think a lot of people could actually discern the differences between the lyrics and never thought of how the words of the songs meant something different coming from Morello or de la Rocha

If I were to try to do that "nine albums that made me" thing the honest answer would probably mostly be stuff like sublime or fallout boy that i heard as a teen and thought "oh boy i do not like this, i do not want to hear this ever again" i think that's impacted me more than anything i like

Chris Andrew's irritatingly chirpy Yesterday Man is a new entry at 40. His delivery at odds with the utter bleakness of the song. Robert Wyatt gets to the hollow essence of it in this hastily withdrawn single that was meant to be the follow up to I'm A Believer. www.youtube.com/watch?v=2jcQ...

back in the 90s there was a japanese dude who'd to spam alt.fan.frank-zappa with ads trying to sell japanese pressings of zappa albums and people hated him so they'd flame the hell out of him, and sometimes he'd get mad enough to reply back and call people things like "wickly cowardice man"

No one's talking about that she knew there were gonna be problems because she has thrombocytopenia. She actually asked for a firing squad. I suppose she's like, fuck them, let it be messy and as traumatic as possible to witness. There's no moral way for a state to kill someone.

That's where I've been for a while. We can't even reach questions about the death penalty itself because we fail essential predicates such as "fair and consistent criminal justice system" and "reliable death penalty verdicts that leave no reasonable doubt" and, as shown tonight, "humane execution."

there are moral arguments against the death penalty in its ideal form but in real life you never need to get there. the prior question is "can the state be trusted to end the life only of the rightly convicted without torture?" and the answer is no

For reference, the average residential route gets somewhere between 0-3 certified letters per day. The generally estimated time added each day per cert is ~2 minutes. At 500ish registered voters per route, this would have added about 16 hours 40 mins per route, or 24 hours 40 mins per day.
