People do have "legitimate concerns" about things like housing, rising cost of living, NHS waiting lists etc. That's absolutely fair. Despite political and media rhetoric, absolutely none of those concerns are solved by attacking asylum seekers and other migrants. 1/

Who here knows about dragonflies? Specifically interested in if frosted/frozen dragonflies can recover. I see late flying darters and hawkers in November in the Levels, and have occassionally seen them frosted to stalks... can they survive it?

While we are discussing drought, and food supply, it is worth remembering that virtually the entire objective of land improvement over the last centuries has been more drainage. We have worked very hard to dry out our island, removing ponds, wetlands, floodplains and forests in the process.
