I have been on a JOURNEY this season of LearnedLeague. God. I thought I was getting my ass handed to me, but I would have gotten 6/6 yesterday if I'd said Clara Schumann instead of Rebecca Schumann, and Pinewood instead of Pineywood.

the LearnedLeague "bump chart", showing my riches-to-rags-to-riches progression across the season. I was seeded in 7th place, fell as low as 24th after losing... twelve matches in a row, and then spent the remaining matches winning relentlessly and tying just once, ending up in second place.

Today in food heresies: we had sand pears from our CSA that i needed to use, so i blended them into a marinade for bulgogi. But i also had some hummus, and thought, hey... There's tahini in the hummus. Why not sesame oil? And folks? Hummus under multigrain rice with bulgogi is DELICIOUS

11 years after doing the initial grammar course on KA, I'm finally going to publish a video on verbals.
