Global warming has reached 1.4°C, and will reach 1.5°C by 2030 at current emission rates. So we need to have the courage to discuss ending the burning of fossil fuels by 2030-35, including ending leisure aviation and most private car journeys.. ..if we want children to have a liveable planet. 1/2

Just saw a story that says ‘doing X triples the risk of developing Y.’ Sounds bad, right? Better stop doing X. Risk should never be communicated like this, without a statement of baseline risk. If it was initially one in three, gulp!! One in three million, so what?
