L'occasion de rappeler que la déforestation induite par l'extraction est bien davantage le fait de l'extraction d'or et de charbons que des métaux pour la transition. Que les discours "anti-mines" se concentrent contre la transition est très étrange. www.energy-transitions.org/publications...
Slide présentant la déforestation induite par différentes extractions. On voit surtout la part importante de l'or et du charbon. On ne voit pas directement la féforestation induite par la demande pour des véhicules électriques parce que ce n'est qu'une sous-partie de l'extraction de certains métaux (cuivre, "autres métaux non ferreux") mais il est clair que c'est un facteur minoritaire (voir infime) de la déforestation présentée ici.

Massive numbers of federal employees at Oklahoma's Tinker Air Force Base, one of the state's largest employers, are reportedly set to be laid off this week per the Musk-Trump purges. One local MAGA mayor, Chad Allcox, wrote on Facebook: "To be clear, I support the movement President Trump has built, but I do not support what his team is doing to federal employees, especially in the Department of Defense...At this rate, it could take decades to rebuild what's being recklessly torn apart right now."
