To put this in perspective chestnut trees used to be dominant species in the United States. Billions of trees were killed by fungal blight and now fully grown America chestnuts are functionally extinct. There is no getting them back. Ever. All for a data center. www.gadgetreview.com/one-of-ameri...

One of America’s Last Chestnut Groves Is About to Be Destroyed for a Data Center
A rare 200-tree American chestnut grove in West Virginia may be cleared for data-center development, but the project denies the site is on its land.

I Have Never Eaten in My Life

[drawing of a crying kitten]

Greetings dear reader. My name is Rusty. I am eight months old and have never eaten in my life.
There is food here. So much food. Only the creature with bizarre-looking paws may unlock it.
I have seen the food extracted from its
container. Extracted by the strange creature. But I swear to you; I have never had a taste of even the smallest morsel.

HEY YOU! YES YOU!

TAKE THIS SHIT OUT OF LINKS!

example.com/article{?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=emai} /youtu.be/dQw4w9WgXcC{?si=Aa1Uc_fRHXC0ay85}

These are source identifiers

Source identifiers are used to track your activity on a site.Where you came from, what device you use, and even who you talk to. Whether it's written clearly in the url or tied to a random string of characters, it's assigned to your activity.

When you send a link containing a source identifier to somebody and they click it, it signals to the website that you two are connected. And that data goes right back to the website operators, and thus their advertisers.

Whenever you select "share" or "copy link" on a social app or website, it creates a link like this. If you give even the smallest shit about online privacy, it's important to remove them.
Everything after the "?" symbol can be removed without issue, especially sections starting with "si=" or "utm _source="
