Ok I’m confused as to how a fridge would even heat up that much though. Like why does it have a heating function at all? www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

There is absolutely no viable path forward for this country that doesn’t hinge on extreme accountability for everyone involved in this administration. They’re going to whine about politicization and credulous media types will echo them, but the thing is, they’ve committed tons of obvious crimes!

If I were in Scotland I would go for a drive but given how far south I am right now I'm not going to bother. I'll lurk outside with my phone camera for a bit but I doubt I'll see anything!

Dear tv and radio producers. Thankyou for the invitation. But, no, I do not want to appear on your show to defend the idea that I am English, after 50 years of living and working here, because the increasingly feral right want to turn this into a "debate" and you cannot see how you're being played

This is sexual violence as a form of terrorism. It is political violence and it is chilling and horrific, and AOC was absolutely right to be terrified that the goons (now pardoned) laying siege to the capital would rape her if they found her. Small changes won't fix this. FLIP THE TABLE NOW

One thing I find endlessly funny about the rise of AI is that it has revealed that there is a large number of people who believe that the reason they wrote essays at school or university is their teachers were desperately waiting for them to provide a definite answer to “Lear: what’s up with him?”

Noticing the nights drawing in? 🌙 October brings a big shift, with most of the UK losing over 2 hours of daylight this month. Do you enjoy the cosy evenings or miss the longer days?

Kept bleeding through the bandage so I definitely got blood on the basket but it’s done! Every time I think I’ve got the hang of borders I make some new silly mistake but I’m trying to treat it as a learning experience and not a failure

Well that was a fun half hour. While feeding my sourdough, managed to drop it on the floor. Glass and goo everywhere, I had to chase the dogs outside for their safety so trod in it. Cut myself while cleaning it up, dripped blood and trod sourdough on Mum's cream carpet looking for the first aid kit.

The ability to pour hundreds of millions of pounds into a loss-making TV channel, bent on wrenching British politics sharply to the right, is yet another of the ways in which extreme wealth is trying to remake UK democracy. It needs to be part of any serious conversation about political funding.
