One of my favorite things: The way we meet people online or at events and carry on a relationship by sending each other jokes, memes, photos, posts. It feels so special when a far away friend sees something and thinks specifically of me and reaches out. I was a lonely kid, and this gives me life.

We think we're so smart and evolved, but you put a whole bunch of crap on the same tray and your brain goes "okay, that is all One Object now, much more pleasant."

Happy to report that Fascist Italy and Nazi Germany are the eras least aligned with my beliefs. Along with Habsberg Spain, which I admit I'm not super knowledgeable about. (In the individual section, Columbus was one the furthest individuals, so it tracks.)

My sweet baby boy (he's almost 10)is so conscientious about knocking before opening the bathroom door that he will get up off the couch *that the entire rest of the family is sitting on*, walk over to the bathroom and give a little knock before going in.
