if i ever run for office, it will be for a position that has the power to stop fashion brands from including nothing but fake pockets in women's clothes. in a just world, fake pockets would be punished by a tribunal of women who need a purse to hold their phones.

2/2 George Sinclair JP, 'shipowner, who was the last Provost of Old Aberdeen' before it was incorporated into the City of Aberdeen in 1891. He died in 1914, and he's buried with his wife and son in Oldmachar kirkyard.

The impressive chest tomb of Sir Robert Broke (died 1588), who served as Speaker of the House of Commons. It depicts Sir Robert alongside his two wives, with the sides of the tomb decorated with images of his children in prayer, which was a common feature of 16th-century English funerary monuments.

I am begging people to understand the reason you pay so much tax is because the richest pay so little. The combined tax dodged by the richest 1% is more than the tax contribution of the bottom 70%. If they paid their tax, you wouldn't have to pay any.

3/3 Its inscription barely there now, the last resting place in Dunfermline kirkyard of David Ferguson, 'first protestant minister of Dunfermline', who died in 1598. As well as fathering nine children, he translated the Book of Proverbs into Scots and rearranged them into alphabetical order!

Mouse sticking round #HolyTrinityBristol for a couple of days as she has more to share: Monument west of nave. An effigy raised up on an elbow is a common motif of tombs from the era. Seen as meaning 'resting rather than dead' though Mouse think of it as 'neither here nor there'
