It’s Sporting Heritage Day
Did you know there’s a strong baseball tradition in South Wales? Organised games were played from the 1890s. By the 1920s the Welsh Baseball Union comprised over 60 clubs mainly around Cardiff & Newport. This photo shows St Patrick’s School, Grangetown, Cardiff, 1953.
