Loads of people here mentioning Fury Road (and I agree), but I didn't see any mention of the Mission: Impossible films, which is insane to me. Ghost Protocol, Rogue Nation and Fallout in particular are all stacked with some of the best action scenes ever put to film, IMO.

It was incredible seeing Endgame in theaters again. It's a beautiful reminder that superhero tales are at their core modern mythology. Witnessing literal cinematic history on a big screen again with friends no less is why I love seeing MCU films in the theater. Doomsday can't come soon enough.

A really miserable way of engaging with fandom is being overly concerned with what "the haters" think. It really sucks that when I try to talk to other Star Wars fans who like (most) of the Sequel Trilogy, the conversation then turns into how much the toxic fandom sucks. I'm not here for that.
