According to Jeff Sneider, Fast Forever not only has no director but has no completed script despite Vin Diesel's claims he's read one and that it was the best he's ever read. What a fucking disaster.

Thinking about “AOL Time-Warner” today. Warnermount seems like a doomed endeavor to me. (Good luck getting me to call it Skydance.) I remember when a selzer company bought Universal. And Coca Cola owned Columbia. It’s going to be terrible and thousands will lose jobs. But it’s also doomed.

Some trans people have no sense of humor and that's why we have no rights. 💔

Dear trans men, I have a mission for you. Not of all of y'all can be Oliver or Alex, someone of you need to called Lionel or Arnold. We don't have enough Lionels in the world. Sincerely, a trans woman not named Emily, Olivia, or Alexis.

Joe Walsh: "Today is a day to mourn. The loss of innocent life." Me: "Yeah man, those people didn't deserve to go out like that." Joe Walsh: "those “resisting” today, those shouting “genocide” today?" Y'all can't even mourn dead people without genocide denial...

It's such a shame that social media wasn't what it is now when the AOL + WarnerMedia merger happened. Genuinely one of, if not the, funniest corporate merger of all time.

The largest media mergers in history: From Boardroom

1. AOL + WarnerMedia (2001) - $163.4 billion
2. Paramount + Warner Bros (2026) - $110.9 billion
3. Charter Communications + Time Warner Cable (2018) - $78.7 billion
4. Microsoft + Activision and Blizzard (2023) - 75.4 billion
5. The Walt Disney Company + 21st Century Fox (2019) - $71.3 billion
7. Public Investment Fund + Electronic (2026) - $55.0 billion
8. AT&T + DirectTV (2015) - $49.0 billion
9. Discovery + WarnerMedia (2002) - $43.0 billion
10. Comcast + Sky (2018) - $39.0 billion

Too many people think all they need to do to support trans women is boycott Harry Potter. You ask allies to do anything else, including not treating us like diet men, they malfunction. Trans women actually need real concrete help, support, and protection. Forget the wizard franchise for 2 seconds.

I don't like people comparing Digger to Beau Is Afraid and Eddington cause Digger was actually good,

This is genuinely one of the worst readings of Digger I've seen. The movie hasn't been out a week and it's already generating dogshit takes that some movies don't generate until their 5th anniversary.

I do think it's a good skill on my end to talk about Star Wars and MCU projects, no matter how good, bad, or thematically heavy/light they are, like real art. I unironically believe this makes me smarter than anyone who just uses the word "slop" unironically even once.

Right now my biggest complaint about Digger is that I wish it had a better score. Kinda tired of every auteur driven studio movie having a quirky atmospheric score. Sometimes it's ok to have themes and leitmotifs. Thomas Newman could've scored it in his sleep.

Ambitious, entertaining, thought provoking, and strange, Digger is a studio film unlike anything I've seen in my lifetime. Alejandro G. Iñárritu swings for the fences and while he may strike out here and there, the end result is a timely film that I can't wait to defend for years to come.

Digger sees Academy Award winner Alejandro G. Iñárritu not at is best, but at his most. His very obvious ambitions and swings for the fences can often exceed their grasp, but seeing the immense backla...
