I’m at a little roadside bakery with my friend, whose father died in a freak accident a week ago today. She ordered his favorite sandwich. Yeah this was an early date and she was the only one getting ice cream so she payed for it and then he looked sheepish for not pulling out his card. Her makeup alone cost more than his outfit i guarantee you. It was so icky to be around. Sheepishness from men is so creepy! Argh! Sigh…

Some of the therapists i have had seemed good at the time, but in retrospect they were disastrous and dangerous, and trusting them was a mistake that nearly cost me my life. The therapists i have worked with who were good people? Very old (and ready to retire) and overtly anti capitalist.

So I just learned about a Black actress named Nichelle Nichols and how her being on Star Trek was a big deal to Black people back then and how she was the reason why we had astronauts of color being a part of NASA. This is why representation matters and it is that deep. She made history.
