“Loving every conversation (Ms Marple is a triumph), the setting, the line of characters (-Sylvia), the connections between them, motives, 1st person narrations. However the accent on Sylvia is offensive, no American says "Baby"like that. Do Brits think we have speech impairments? I listen to Brit mysteries daily and this is the worst American accent. I played classical violin in youth, I picked up 6-string electric "slightly over 40 yo" (after decades of not playing anything). For me, the practice techniques I learned as kid help a lot, but since I have no formal goals or external pressure, I've been able to avoid pretty much all the stress.

I remember discovering Herge’s Adventures of Tin-Tin in the school library. I spent every minute in there that I could. Tin-Tin teaches history, showing how people used to live and perceive the world. This felt honest to me. Not a Bowdlerized version of the past. I was able to understand it.
