Cells differ in their cell-division cycle pace. But only now has it been shown that those types with faster cycles are more susceptible to cancer. www.nature.com/articles/d41...

Canada at this point needs to double research money to become a true powerhouse. In terms of dollars, it’s not a lot to get there. A visionary government would leap at the chance. Alas no party in Canada has that vision. Most institutions are freezing hiring (in ON anyways).
