John Adair has been terminated, effective immediately.
We want to be unequivocally clear: his views and actions do not reflect the values of Sooke Brewing Company, its ownership, or its staff. We are devastated by his actions and sincerely apologize for the hurt they have caused. Suspending gas taxes is the easiest move for politicians to make when gas prices are high and it's also the dumbest. It does very little to alter the material conditions of constituents, but costs a shit ton of money while slightly diluting the market signal that high gas prices should send.

These people are insane
Fragmented, smaller Canadian statelets are much easier for the United States to dominate through closer economic and geopolitical integration, including the COFA arrangement. Such indirect domination is preferable to a straight-up annexation, which will likely lead to a protracted and costly occupation as the presence of the U.S. occupation enflames Canadian nationalism and leads to widespread.

I offer two potential policy options to facilitate this fragmentation. The United States should consider covert support for PQ ahead of the election. These include (1) overt financial support for PQ in the election and (2) psychological operations to foment Quebecois and Albertan separatism, (3) behind-closed-doors trade negotiations with the PQ, where the United States commits to offering lower tariffs on Quebec than on the rest of Canada.Instead, the primary focus should be to weaponize the “reconciliation” process to demoralize Canadian elitedom by delegitimizing the very existence of the confederation. If heritage Canadians are led to believe that their confederation is a sham, they will lack the energy necessary to keep together a fracturing confederation. These efforts include (1) covert litigation financing for indigenous land lawsuits, (2) State Department funding for Indigenous scholars in Canada, and (3) psychological operations to marginalize “denialism” of indigenous claimsDARC

Canada
On January 3rd, the United States launched its smash-and-grab operation to capture Venezuelan President Nicholas Maduro, securing control of the hemisphere’s largest oil field in a four-hour operation. Just a week later, Canadian Prime Minister Carney visited Beijing to pitch him on a major trade deal, opening up the hemisphere to a flood of Chinese investments in key sectors like automobile and energy.

Carney’s trade deals directly undermined the administration’s National Security Strategy, which aims to ensure a “Hemisphere that remains free of hostile foreign incursion or ownership of key assets.” Just as Washington closed off Caracas’s oil from Chinese access, Ottawa signed away another source of oil in the Western hemisphere to Beijing. No surprise that Chinese propaganda hailed the visit as an opportunity for Canada to assert its “strategic autonomy” from the United States.

These recent events demonstrate that Canada’s desire for strategic autonomy poses a serious national security problem for the United States. The United States cannot share the longest undefended border in the world with a country so eager to court hostile great powers in our hemisphere.

At the same time, Canada today is more splintered than it has been in decades. A wide range of centrifugal forces–specifically provincial separatism, a record-high foreign-born population, and indigenous grievances–may soon precipitate the total fragmentation of our northern neighbor. The United States should exploit the soon-to-arrive fragmentary moment in Canada as an opportunity to drastically reshape the North American environment into one more amenable to U.S. interests.

To fully take advantage of the coming fragmentary moment, the United States must reel in its annexationist desires to the north. Given the obv…

Meanwhile, the Western Standard's opinion editor claims he had numerous phone calls with "Daniel Robson" and claims he spoke with an Ontario accent On the other hand, Derek Fildebrandt says they rejected several pitches because "Daniel Robson" seemed to be "propagandizing for foreign governments"
The outlet became aware of the questions surrounding Mr. Robson after being contacted by other concerned publications, Mr. Fildebrandt said. He said the Western Standard had previously rejected several of Mr. Robson's pitches. "I'm informed that a significant number of what he had submitted was what I would classify as propagandizing for foreign governments," he said. Mr. Oldcorn said he had communicated repeatedly with Mr. Robson during the past year, including over the phone. The last time they spoke was in late July or early August, he said, when Mr. Robson explained that he would be unavailable for a few weeks because of upcoming dental surgeries. "The person I spoke to on the phone ... The accent was clearly what you would expect in Ontario," Mr. Oldcorn said. "There was nothing in his voice that would make me think he was Moroccan in any way, shape or form."

According to @theglobeandmail.com, the email account used by "Daniel Robson" was used to register a Moroccan Microsoft account earlier this year The fake journalist's articles published in Canada also "praised Morocco's King Mohammed VI" and encouraged closer ties between Canada and Morocco
Several of the Robson articles published in Canada also praised Morocco's King Mohammed VI and urged Canada to form a security partnership with the African country.

The Globe identified a link between Morocco and Mr. Robson. According to a digital research tool, Mr. Robson's e-mail address was used to register a Moroccan Microsoft account in March, 2026. That account was last active in early September, records show.

The National Post is using language that seems wildly irresponsible and dangerous here Citing ancient “Jewish law,” it labels Avi Lewis as a “rodef” The ultranationalist extremist who assassinated Yitzhak Rabin rationalized his killing on the same basis: www.theguardian.com/world/2020/o...
None of this applies, however, when a Jewish person presents a clear and present danger to the Jewish community. When that happens, Jewish thought is much more forceful: you must prevent the perpetrator from
causing harm.

Jewish law developed two character sketches to describe such scenarios. The first is known as a "mosar" — a Jewish person who informs to oppressive
authorities, potentially leading to the imprisonment, torture or death of community members. The second, called a "rodef," refers to a Jew who is actively pursuing another with the intent to harm or kill them. In both scenarios, the law is clear that a Jew is duty-bound to step in. Protecting the community and its members is the most important thing. It was around then that Yigal Amir, an earnest law student, made up his mind to kill the prime minister. Later he would insist he was not swayed by extremist rabbis; he had reached his own decision that Rabin - through his willingness to cede territory and to allow the creation of a Palestinian Authority, with its own armed police force - was a rodef and therefore a legitimate target. He got a weapon easily enough. With his brother, Amir was working on the creation of an anti-Palestinian militia. Nor was access difficult; on at least three occasions before the rally, Amir attended public events where Rabin was present. He was waiting for the right moment: he didn't want to shoot and miss.
