Dwarf Fortress 53.16 is up. Another quality of life patch, this also fixes up some issues like invisible divine items and the one where a dwarf ordering a drink at a tavern with multiple staff would be served a drink by every staff member, sometimes resulting in acute alcohol poisoning.

the real way we SHOULD be buying these giant old novels that were originally serialized is re-serializing them lmao. this was never meant to be bound in one big tome. it was published in 18 "volumes" over the course of a year and a half. mail me a chunk of that book every month like it's a manga

There is ONE thing I am looking forward to this heatwave: Pictures of paschal candles that have melted in churches. Here's an example from a few years ago. It's my favourite phenomenon. Because, well... Look at it.
