Every time a government politician is asked about the strike, they manage to be extremely condescending. There is absolutely grounds for strike action. We’ve been without a pay deal since the end of JUNE.

Just thinking about these two stories next to each other: 1. In Darndale Park, a football club and a parkrun have been displaced by horses, and some locals have been asking for stables. Nothing yet. 2. In D2, the council is spending €7.5m on a new tearoom in Merrion Square, an area short of cafes?

There were definitely some of the propaganda interviews after she was released back home where he was under the influence of substances. I felt really sorry for her, him being the only parent in her life & especially after the experience she went through.

My parents got loads of those cool 90's Early Learning Centre animals for us & one was an alligator. It really didn't help the whole terror thing that during one of the tense storm drain moments of the episode, my mom jumped out in front of us tiny kids on the couch with it 😱

The "mutant alligator" episode of Baywatch, later suggested to be a saltwater crocodile. I was a total water baby & it completely freaked me out. For years after that, I was always checking that the sea/ocean I was swimming in wasn't one where alligators or saltwater crocs lived. Terrified me.
