Genocide can involve the destruction of a group in whole or in part; the Holocaust was the systematic attempt to annihilate Europe’s Jews. So, insisting that Israel should get credit for not killing every Palestinian is hardly the defense some seem to think it is.

A stark red book, with its title printed on it in white, an interim in darker text, continuation of the title, and finally, the author's name below in yellow.

It thus reads:

The Holocaust was a genocide. 25 percent of the Jewish victims were children. In Gaza 30 percent of the victims are children. This is not counting how many children Israel has sliced up into amputees or other unspeakable horrors visited upon them. The sequel has more gore.
