The Israeli embassy is in northwest DC. Since 2023, the sidewalk in front of the embassy has been completely blocked off; the folks who live in this neighborhood can't use it. There haven't been protesters here for YEARS, but this public sidewalk in the US capital permanently belongs to Israel now.

I think a lot about this quote from Lindsey Graham, because yeah. There's no level where you're guaranteed to reach a mysterious, responsible, competent person. It's all just people.
