This thread makes great points that I overall agree with. And, how do we do this without relying on ableist methods? Making sure everyone knows about their "unsettling, antisocial behavior" is important. Yet using "weird" and "nuts" to other any group of people is a very master's tools dilemma.

When we call someone a monster we erase their choice. We remove accountability. We say "this is who you are," and we act as if there is no possible outcome other than one in which this person caused/causes great harm. No room for growth. No way to expect better of them.
